Universal Studios Offers a Volunteer Vacation
Isn’t it every child’s dream to visit an amusement park?
Unfortunately, there are too many children with life-threatening illnesses who aren’t able due to the high cost of travel and the effort it takes to get them to Orlando.
However, Give Kids the World has partnered with area amusement parks to make sure that these children’s dreams do come true.
Now, Universal Studios offers a Volunteer Vacation that gives visitors a chance to do good while enjoying a vacation.
Universal Studios Volunteer Vacations include three nights accommodation at a Universal Partner Hotel, a two day Park-to-Park ticket with the third day free, early park admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and most importantly, a four-hour long volunteer opportunity for you and your family at Give Kids the World.
Each volunteer may be placed in one of four areas in Give Kids the World.
At the Gingerbread House, volunteers get to interact with families through serving and busing breakfast.
In the Ice Cream Palace, you can help with Express Breakfast by preparing meals to go, or greeting families who are picking up their meals.
You may be asked to assist families with Character Photos; either during the photos or while families are waiting their turn.
Lastly, volunteers 16 an older may help in the La-Ti-Da Spa by assisting with makeovers for visiting families.
If you are looking to give while enjoying vacation, the Universal Studios Volunteer Vacation may be the perfect opportunity for you.
The icing on the cake?
Universal Studios will donate $100 to Give Kids the World for every vacation package purchased!
