Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course

Updated: 02 May 2013 03:01:35 AM

Looking for some Disney fun away from the parks? Disney's Fantasia Gardens offers two 18-hole mini-golf courses, complete with a snack bar and arcade.

Garden Course

The Gardens course is 18 holes of fun, kid-friendly mini-golf themed after Disney's classic animated film Fantasia.

Enjoy the film's beautiful, classical score as you play around interactive obstacles from the film's most famous scenes, including ballet-dancing hippos, a 40-foot tall Mount Olympus, and water effects overseen by the fierce wizard from "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" (Trivia: The name of the sorcerer from this Mickey Mouse classic is Yen Sid - "Disney" spelled backwards! It was a name given to the character by Fantasia's animators, who modeled the character on Walt Disney himself).

Fairways Course

For more serious golfers, the second of the two courses is The Fairways course; a lengthy, 18-hole precision putting course, complete with water hazards and sand traps.

Located on Buena Vista Drive next to the Walt Disney World Swan Resort, Disney's Fantasia Gardens is open daily from 10am to 11pm.

Free With Touch of Magic Tickets

Touch of Magic Disney Tickets are available as a premium when you attend a timeshare presentation.

Touch of Magic Tickets can also be bundled with your timeshare vacation package.

These tickets are not available at gate.

Prices for either 18-hole course are $12.00 plus tax for Adults and $10.00 plus tax for children ages 3-9 per round.

Guests can play additional, same-day rounds for half off the regular price. On-site parking is available.

Tip: Fantasia Gardens can also easily be reached from the Epcot center.

Take the boat from Epcot to the Swan Resort and simply walk over to Fantasia Gardens.

Of course, this means leaving the Epcot Center, so be sure to have your hand stamped if you plan on returning.
