Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course
Updated: 14 March 2013 07:26:28 AM
Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course is inspired by the Disney classic of the same name and fans of the film will notice that the 18-hole course uses many of its characters to create a playful, brightly colored miniature course that will prove fun for the whole family.
An open book marks the start of each hole with the hole number, name and par.
The holes are named after musical pieces and there is a strong musical theme throughout the experience.
The course is very interactive and features musical tones in response to good shots, water features, dancing hippos and marching broomsticks.
There is even a part of the course where your golf ball makes music by hopping along a giant xylophone.
Fantasia Gardens was designed with children in mind and relies more on chance than skill, allowing younger children to play alongside adults at a reasonable pace.
Static & Moving Obstacles
Like other miniature golf courses, golf balls must dodge their way around both static and moving obstacles; navigate curves, grooves and other geometric challenges in order to find their way to the hole.
Fantasia Gardens is located within Walt Disney World adjacent to the Swan Hotel and is a great way to spend an afternoon with the family.
The course is large enough to accommodate many golfers without getting crowded, making it a good place to take a break from long lines elsewhere at Disney World.
One 18-hole round of golf costs $12.00 for adults and $10 for children aged 3 to 9.
The Touch of Magic tickets includes a free entry to Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course.
