Central Florida Zoo's 36th Birthday
Updated: 27 May 2013 06:21:25 AM
The 4th of July is the Central Florida Zoo's 36th birthday and to celebrate there's going to be live music, games, food, and crafts for the kids, face painting, magic, water slide, and zoo animal encounters.
What a fun way to celebrate the 4th and enjoy the day at the zoo.
Go a day early on July 3, to meet with representatives from the new movie "ZooKeeper" sharing information on the movie and an opportunity for adults to take a test-drive in the new Ford Focus.
Zoo & Botanical Gardens
The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, in Sanford, FL is a tropical world, providing entertaining and educational experiences for the entire family.
As well as the 400 animals housed here, not including the bugs at the Massey Services Insect Zoo, there is an aerial sky adventure course, ZOOm Air Adventure Park that gives an animal's perspective from the treetops.
Rope bridges, zip lines, disks and other unique systems allow the family to zoom from tree to tree.
Explore one or all three of these treetop courses.
If the ZOOm Air Adventure is too much adventure, visit the Animal Adventure Children's Zoo or take a look at the Southeast's venomous snakes and non-venomous reptiles at the Herpetarium.
The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is a great place to visit every day of the year and for children from 1-12 years it's a fun place to have a birthday party.
Think about buying an Annual ZOO Pass and receive free admission to the zoo.
